Cloth diaper cover comparison: Difference between snap buttons and Velcro

One of the most frequently asked questions is which is better: snap buttons or Velcro? What's the difference? This is the content. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

The snap buttons on cloth diapers are difficult to remove.

The snap buttons on cloth diapers have the advantage of not coming off easily, but it takes some skill to attach them until you get used to them (especially when changing diapers in the middle of the night). It's easy once you get used to it, but some people may find it a little time-consuming at first because they aren't used to changing diapers themselves.

Velcro cloth diapers are easy to put on and take off, but...

For newborns, the Velcro type may be easier. Also, changing diapers in the middle of the night (because it's dark and I don't know where the snap buttons are) may be easier with Velcro. However, although Velcro tape is easy to attach, when your baby starts crawling, it may come off on its own. It would be a problem if it was removed without permission... On that point, snaps are ◎ because babies cannot put them on and take them off by themselves!

For one size cloth diapers, use snap buttons.

At least for those who can start using cloth diapers after crawling, snap buttons are recommended. By the time your baby is 7 months old, the snap buttons (because you're used to changing diapers yourself) will be easier to adjust. If you want to use a one-size cloth diaper cover for a long time, we recommend the snap type. Please consider RinennaBaby's one-size diaper cover!
