洗濯研究家の平島利恵です。 ファーベストやファー付きコート、バッグや小物に使われているファー。 「汚れが気になるけれど、家で洗っていいの？」 「洗ったらゴワゴワになりそう」 「クリーニングに出すしかないのかな」 そんなふうに思ったことはありませんか？ 実は、フェイクファー（エコファー）であれば、自宅で洗えるものもあります。 ただし、洗い方を間違えると、毛並みが乱れたり、ゴワついたり、型崩れしてしまうことも。 ファーのお手入れで大切なのは、強く洗うことではなく、素材に負担をかけず、ふわふわの風合いを守りながら洗うことです。 今回は、自宅で洗えるファーの見分け方から、正しい洗い方、乾かし方、仕上げのポイントまで分かりやすくお伝えします。 ① まず確認｜そのファーは自宅で洗える？ ファーには、大きく分けてリアルファーとフェイクファーがあります。 リアルファーは動物の毛皮のため、水洗いすると硬くなったり縮んだりすることがあります。基本的には、クリーニング店に相談しましょう。 一方、ポリエステルなどの合成繊維で作られたフェイクファーは、洗濯表示で水洗いができるものであれば、自宅で洗える場合があります。 洗う前に確認すること ・洗濯表示で水洗いできるか ・リアルファーではなくフェイクファーか ・革や合皮のパーツが使われていないか ・型崩れしやすいデザインではないか ご注意 洗濯表示に「水洗い不可」のマークがあるものは、自宅で洗わずクリーニング店へ相談してください。 見た目だけで判断せず、必ず洗濯表示を確認しましょう。 ② フェイクファーは「中性洗剤」でやさしく洗う フェイクファーは洗える素材であっても、毛並みのあるデリケートな衣類です。 普段の洗濯と同じように強く洗うと、毛が絡まったり、ゴワついたりすることがあります。 洗う時は、衣類に負担をかけにくいおしゃれ着用の中性洗剤を使いましょう。 用意するもの ・おしゃれ着用の中性洗剤...
