Stuffed toys that babies and children love.
Babies and children often hug stuffed animals and get drool on them, and even take them with them when they go out. I don't wash it often, so I think it's surprisingly dirty.
Would you like to wash your stuffed animal at home and keep it clean?
Rie Hirashima, a mother of four and a laundry expert, will tell you how to properly wash stuffed animals and make them fluffy!
How to wash stuffed animals at home to make them fluffy and cleanThere are two types of stuffed animals: washable stuffed animals and non-washable stuffed animals.
How to wash stuffed animals 1 | Check the washing instructionsIf there is a tag on the stuffed toy that tells you how to wash it, check the label.
Let's take a look at the oke mark.
If there is an X on the bucket, you cannot wash it with water.
Also, even if you can wash the stuffed animal with water, there are some stuffed animals that have special features that you should be careful about when washing them.
Things you need to be careful about with stuffed animals that can be washed at homeOK, but you need to be careful ・Discoloration (Try dissolving Rinenna in an inconspicuous area and dab it on a cloth to see if the color has transferred to the cloth.)
・Decorations (remove items that can be removed by washing, such as eyes and buttons, and reattach them after washing)
・Clothes (please remove clothes that can be changed in advance)

・Leather stuffed animal
How to care for your precious stuffed animal on a daily basisI can't wash it, but I want to cherish it.
We will introduce easy ways to care for stuffed animals on a daily basis.
brushingUse a clothes brush to gently remove dust from your stuffed animal.
Even if you can't wash your stuffed animals, keep them clean by brushing them frequently.
sun dryingIf the weather is nice, you can also dry it in the sun.
However, direct sunlight can cause discoloration, so if you are concerned about it, dry it in the shade to let it air out.
Vacuum cleanerIf you have a large stuffed animal, you can also vacuum it to remove dust.
If you replace the nozzle with a smaller one, it will be easier to suck it up.
Since the suction power is strong, if you are concerned about the pain of your stuffed animal, we recommend brushing it.
How to wash stuffed animals | Hand washing versionWe recommend washing your precious stuffed animals by hand.
It's safer than using a washing machine because you don't have to worry about it losing its shape.
My first attempt at washing a stuffed animal If you wash your hands, please start by washing your hands.
How to wash stuffed animals by hand | Things to prepare
- Dip containers (plastic) such as buckets and wash basins
- Laundry detergent Rinenna
- A laundry net that is just the right size for the stuffed animal
- Flat drying net
How to wash by hand 1 | Remove dust before washing stuffed animalsBefore soaking your stuffed animal in water, use a soft brush, such as a clothes brush, to remove visible dust and light dirt from its surface.
How to wash by hand 2 | Make a washing solution for stuffed animals using RinennaPour 4 liters of hot water at about 40℃ and 2 spoons of Rinenna into a soaking container such as a bucket or Barcolor and stir well.
If you don't have Rinenna detergent, use it for fashionable washing. Add the neutral detergent to hot water and stir well.
How to wash by hand 3: Soak the stuffed animal in the washing solution and leave it for 30 minutes.Rinenna removes dirt well without scrubbing, so you can soak the stuffed animal in washing liquid containing Rinenna and leave it alone.
If you use a neutral detergent, please wash gently and gently scrub the areas where dirt is noticeable on the surface.
How to wash by hand 4 | Gently squeeze the stuffed animal and rinse at least 3 timesFill the container with clean water and rinse.
The key is to rinse the stuffed animal at least three times while changing the water so that no detergent remains on the stuffed animal.
The aim is to see no bubbles coming out of the stuffed animal.
Add fabric softener to make it fluffy
Add fabric softener to make stuffed animals fluffyPour hot water into a thoroughly washed container, dissolve the fabric softener, add the stuffed animal, and let it soak for about 10 minutes.
Fabric softener acts like a conditioner when washing stuffed animals.
By adding fabric softener, the stuffed animal's fur will be smoothed and its fluffy feel will be restored.
When using fabric softener, be sure to use clean water.
If you use leftover hot water, it will attract bacteria. Let's watch out.
Cleanliness is best.
You don't want to introduce germs even after you've washed it.
No need to rinse after soaking in fabric softener.
How to wash by hand 5 | Wrap the stuffed animal in a towel and dehydrate it in the washing machine
If you squeeze the stuffed animal by hand, it will lose its shape , so use a washing machine to dehydrate the stuffed animal.
If you put stuffed animals directly into the washing machine, they will stick to the washing tub due to centrifugal force and leave marks on the washing tub. Be careful when dehydrating in the washing machine as it may get stuck or damaged.
Wrap the stuffed animal in a large towel and then place it in the net.
The point is stuffed animals on the internet Make sure that the towel does not fall apart.
If the net is large, try adding another towel.
Dehydration in a washing machine varies depending on size and material. However, it only takes about 20 seconds to 1 minute! Dehydration for too long is no good .
I think there are many washing machines whose minimum spin time is 1 minute or more, so in that case you will need to make adjustments such as turning it off manually.
Please be careful not to dehydrate the stuffed animal for a long time in the washing machine as this will cause the stuffed animal to lose its shape.
How to wash by hand 6 | Dry flat in the shade with a netIf you have a stuffed animal with long hair, brush it lightly once again to smooth the fur before hanging it to dry.
Lay the stuffed animal on a flat drying net and dry it in the shade in a well-ventilated place .
It will dry faster in a sunny place, but the color will fade if exposed to sunlight for a long time, so please dry it in the shade.
We also recommend drying it indoors with a fan or other blower.
How to wash by hand 7 | Brushing a dry stuffed animalOnce the stuffed animal is completely dry, don't forget to brush it here as well.
When drying, the fibers may stick together, so be sure to brush your stuffed animal before washing it. This will bring back the fluffy texture.

How to wash in a washing machine 2 | Make a washing solution for stuffed animals using RinennaAs with hand washing, use Rinenna to make a pre-soaked laundry solution.
Put 4 liters of hot water at about 40℃ and 2 spoons of Rinenna into a container and stir well to dissolve.
How to wash in a washing machine 3 | Leave the stuffed animal soaked for about 30 minutesThe process up to this point is the same as when washing a stuffed animal by hand.
How to wash in the washing machine 4 | Wrap the stuffed animal in a towel and put it in the washing machineOnce soaked, remove the stuffed animal from the washing solution, wrap it in a towel and place it in a washing net to prevent it from losing its shape.
At this time, there is no need to squeeze the stuffed animal.
To prevent the towel from peeling off from the stuffed animal during washing in the washing machine, wrap the stuffed animal in a towel. Please prepare a net that is the right size.
If you don't have a net of the right size, we recommend making adjustments such as increasing the number of towels.
How to wash in a washing machine 5 | Add fabric softener and leave the drying process to the washing machineThere is no need to add detergent to the washing machine as Rinenna thoroughly soaks and washes.
Add only fabric softener to create a fashionable course or a dry course. Choose a gentle washing course and start! If course selection is not possible, wash time is 6 to 7 minutes, rinse time is at least 2 times, and dehydration time is less than 1 minute. Please set as a guide.

Recommended time to wash stuffed animalsWe recommend going from spring to summer when the weather dries quickly, and from summer to fall after the rainy season has ended.
If you suffer from hay fever, drying your clothes outside during the spring pollen season will remove the pollen. It will stick to the stuffed animal, so if you have to dry it indoors or outside, let it dry before vacuuming the stuffed animal.

Before｜A pretty dirty stuffed animal...
Posted by @letoile_lifeI used @rinennanewyork's main laundry detergent to clean my daughter's bunny, which was pretty dirty lol. It's super easy to use. Just dissolve the detergent and leave it on for about an hour. If so, just wash it in the washing machine and that's it ✨
After｜No brushing or massaging the stuffed animal!

Before｜A stuffed animal dirty due to a child's mischief...
Posted by @_.akiko._The Stella Lou we picked up at Disney Sea also fell victim to my youngest daughter's time-killing efforts ( •́દ•̩̥̀ ) I soaked it in the #linenna I introduced before for 3 hours, then rinsed it thoroughly with lukewarm water and dried it in the sun (๑ •́ ₃ •̀๑)◞ I couldn't put it in the washing machine because it had a wire in its ear, so I had to wash it by hand to carefully remove the detergent, but as I was doing it, I started laughing so I took another video (*´艸`)← Are you bored? Please come back with a beautiful face!! ︎, but it ended up looking like CPR.ﾟ(ﾉ∀｀)ﾟ｡ I had just watched the 4-minute video of Marigold that I had just recorded (❁ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)◞
After｜Just leave it on! easy washing
