Parasols that seem impossible to wash at first glance are actually washable.
This method can also be used for dirty umbrellas.
Wash your umbrella and wash away any dirt!
If both parasols and rain umbrellas have bamboo handles, wrap them in plastic wrap to make them waterproof.
Soak a sponge in water containing laundry detergent (neutral) and pat the surface of the umbrella to wash it.
Place a clean white towel on the back of the umbrella to absorb the dirt.*Be sure to dab as rubbing will cause it to fluff and change its color.
Rinse and drain in the shower.
Rinse about 3 times.
Wipe the bones with a towel to remove moisture.
Spread it out in the shade and let it dry completely.
*We recommend spraying the front and back with water repellent spray as this will prevent dirt from sticking and will last longer. If you close it like this, you can comfortably use the parasol next year as well.
Umbrellas can also be washed clean and fresh.
You might even look forward to rainy days.
