Check points for washing labels! Can this be washed at home?
Have you ever had to worry about whether you can wash your precious clothes at home, whether you have to take them to the dry cleaners, and how you should wash them? In such cases, the first thing to check is the "pail mark" on the washing label. You can tell by looking at the "pail mark" whether it can be washed at home or not.
This time, laundry expert Rie Hirashima will explain the difficult to remember washing labels in an easy-to-understand manner!
Do not wash at home mark
The cross mark on this bucket is a washing indication that it cannot be washed with water .These are clothes that cannot be washed at home.
If you see this mark, Let's take it in for cleaning.
OK to wash at home mark
The mark with numbers inside the tub indicates that it can be washed in the washing machine .Basically, you can wash it in your washing machine at home.
Let's change the settings of the washing machine according to the washing indicator mark!
For clothes that can be washed at home, by changing the washing machine's course and settings according to the washing instructions, you can wash clothes correctly to make them last longer. Here we will explain the meanings of the three marks.
Water temperature upper limit
The number inside the tub indicates the upper limit of water temperature for washing. If you have a washing machine that allows you to select the water temperature, there is no problem at any temperature as long as it is below the specified number.
Strength of washing
The bar under the tub represents the strength of the wash.No rod = normal, 1 wire wire = weak, 2 wire wires = very weak. The more wires there are, the more delicate the clothes will be, requiring less force to wash them.
If you find two wire rods in your favorite clothing, it is best to wash it by hand or take it to the cleaners to avoid any risks.
hand washing
This symbol with a hand in a bucket means "hand washing".
However, it is difficult to wash each piece of clothing by hand.
In such cases, you can also use the hand wash cycle of your washing machine .
Different manufacturers use different names such as ``dry course'' and ``home cleaning,'' and the types of clothes that can be washed differ, so please check the instructions for your washing machine before using.

How to wash cloth diapers (poo stains)
Things to prepare- Soaking detergent (I used Rinenna #1 this time)
- Dipping bucket (in this article, we are using an Omniutti bucket)
Prepare a soaking bucket for STEP cloth diapers
Put 2 tablespoons of Rinenna and 4 liters of hot water in a bucket.Adjust the amount of detergent and hot water in the solution you prepare depending on the amount of cloth diapers to be soaked.
STEP Put a dirty cloth diaper in it and leave it on overnight.
Flush solid poop down the toilet. In the case of loose poop from a young baby, gently flush the poop in the toilet or shower, or Wipe it with a paper towel and put it in a bucket.
Rinenna does not require massaging.
STEP Put the cloth diapers into the washing machine along with the water in the bucket, and add your laundry detergent.
First, use the washing machine's dehydration function to spin the clothes for 3 to 4 minutes, then wash them as usual using the wash button.Since the diaper is not massaged, poop residue often remains on the diaper during the soaking stage, but dehydration removes the poop residue.
Use Rinenna #1 to easily attach and wash cloth diapers! We are introducing detailed washing methods with videos and photos.
The laundry detergent I used this time is Rinenna#1. The laundry bucket I used this time is the Omniutti bucket with a lid.
